Edinburgh West is one of five burgh constituencies
which cover the City of Edinburgh.

The area includes the electoral wards of Dalmeny and Kirkliston; Queensferry; Cramond; Davidson's Mains; Muirhouse and Drylaw; East Craigs; North East Corstorphine; Murrayfield; Gyle; South East Corstorphine; and Stenhouse.

The constituency is hugely varied with large residential areas, Edinburgh Airport, Cramond Beach, the iconic Forth Road and Rail Bridges, The Gyle Shopping Centre, the world renowned Edinburgh Zoo as well as the Royal Highland Centre and Showground all contributing to the constituency's place of importance within Edinburgh. 

The area is also home to many businesses, large and small, Edinburgh Park which contains many well known companies and financial brands and the Royal Bank of Scotland's global headquarters at Gogarburn.

The issues that affect the people who live and work in Edinburgh West are diverse. One of my challenges is to try and ensure that I can strike the right balance between representing the needs of individuals, communities and business.
